PhD Applied Physics 2015
Rebecca Perry

Rebecca Perry was a PhD student who studied the Brownian rearrangements within close-packed clusters of microspheres in both 2D and 3D systems.  This work has included improving digital holographic microscopy techniques as well as collecting ensemble averages with brightfield microscopy to investigate statistical mechanical properties.  She received her B.A. in physics from Bowdoin College in 2007 and got her introduction to soft condensed matter while studying the rheology of foams in an REU program at Indiana University and working with colloidal materials while employed at Cabot Corporation.

She is now a software Engineer at Wayfair.
