Aaron Goldfain
PhD Applied Physics
Aaron is a fifth year applied physics graduate student studying the assembly and disassembly of viruses. He is developing optical microscopy techniques to follow the dynamics of individual viruses in solution at kHz rates. He received his B.A. in physics and mathematics in 2012 from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied two-dimensional hydrodynamics using smectic liquid crystal films with Prof. Noel Clark.
