Yoav is studying the self-assembly and disassembly dynamics of viruses and in the nature of interactions between nanoparticles using ultra-sensitive optical methods. Yoav earned his PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, working with professor Yaron Silberberg on nonlinear and quantum optics of disordered media.
