Emily Gehrels
Graduate Student
Emily is a fifth year applied physics graduate student studying the thermodynamics of DNA interactions for use in mediating colloidal interactions. She is interested in designing DNA sequences to allow for precise control of the binding strength and temperature dependence of these interactions in order to design dynamic systems of colloidal particles. She received her B.S. in Physics in 2012 from Carnegie Mellon University.
