Ellen D. Klein
Ellen Klein is a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in Physics studying the self-assembly of colloidal particles. She is interested in learning what colloidal particles can tell us about entropy, phase transitions, and possibly biological systems. Ellen is a 2015 recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
Ellen is also organizing the 2017 SPIN UP Workshop and Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) held at Harvard University. More information can be found here: http://cuwip2017.physics.harvard.edu .
In 2013 Ellen received her B.S. in Intensive Physics from Yale University where she studied a different type of weakly interacting particle - neutrinos - with Bonnie Fleming.
